About these figures

Foreign trading comes from the “foreigners” sheet of the exchange’s daily bulletin: what non-Iraqis bought and sold in each session, company by company. Their share is measured against the session’s total traded value, since every trade has a buyer and a seller.

New accounts come from Table 29 of the monthly report: accounts opened at the Iraqi Depository Centre during the month, natural or legal person, Iraqi or non-Iraqi. The report is published days after month end.
